Hi, I was only responding to questions from Moderator Lisa Lucier . She asked, "Why they suggested a visit to the ER if the aura lasted more than 60 minutes and how the ER might intervene ". My visit with her was very lengthy, involving numerous aspects of my decades of headaches of which auras has been a very small part. It has only been in the last 15 yrs that I have experienced auras and in almost all of those years I was getting on average one in one to two years. So her comment about visiting an ER didn't raise much of a concern. It wasn't until Lisa asked those questions that I began to wonder. I really would not like to say at this point if I would or not recommend her because it was only my first visit, but I will never forget her caution.
