Went to the spinal doctor today. Still apprehensive. I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon next week. Did you have level 2 surgery? How are you feeling today? I just want to be able to garden again. The disclaimer paper I have to sign was also upsetting. I know it is necessary. But, it list all of the things that can happen and that is just terrifying.

@bonnie111 My surgery was one level. I feel good, but if I lift to much weight, it can kick up spasms in my neck. With gardening, you may be limited to light work with a trowel and not a heavy shovel. That is a question to ask the doctor. You will need to be careful in healing and there will be lifting weight restrictions. They have to tell you what can happen, but that doesn't mean it will happen. Ask about the success rate for this doctor with this procedure and what other health conditions affect the success outcome.
