@kb2014 you might consider getting your husband a hobby or an activity out of the home so he is distracted? If you can help him find something more interesting than watching 24/7 news you’ll both be better off. I too consume a lot of news but I don’t get worked up about it. At 73 the end grows nearer and I’m not sweating the current insanity world wide. My chronic illnesses are painful but manageable most of the time. This will change as I age I know. But again I’m OK with it, I’ve lived a successful productive life. Another approach would be to get up and walk to another room when he starts sharing or make him do the same. Good luck.

I have come to accept there is nothing I can do but appreciate your comments on him getting a hobby. He is a good man . We own an RV and keeps up the maintenance. I can only keep working on changing me.
