Sorry, see my response above (sent to the wrong CaliGirl1). You may benefit from physical therapy, spinal injections (steroid for inflammation) and possibly cervical spine surgery if you have herniated discs/bone spurs/spinal cord or nerve root compression, etc.

Thank you, this is helpful information. I did have an EMG test and an MRI test 4 years ago, and a biopsy for small fiber neuropathy performed by the neurologist at that time. Should I request, or can I have these same tests repeated again? Or, are the results I received 4 years ago, the formal official diagnosis, and no further testing is needed? I’m worried that this small fiber neuropathy has or can turn into something worse. ( I could be wrong, I honestly don’t know much about small fiber neuropathy and what to expect.)
