Thank you for your reply...I have been to 3 dermatologists, one world renowned in Chicago. She told me use Clobetasol 3 times a week for the rest of my life. She said people that use it do not tend to get cancer in that area. That was 3 years ago...I have been diligent doing this. When I went Tuesday to a new person, different state, I was kind of blown away that he suggested Tacrolimus. I just figured there may be updated methods to our problem.

Next time I see my regular dermatologist in Illinois I will ask her advice with my conundrum.. which drug to use. I see her late April...will keep you informed....
Please let me know what the doctors say about Clobetasol vs. Tacrolimus...

@diamonddi if the Clobetasol has been working for you, and it has been prescribed by a well known dermatologist, why switch to something else? As they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

I have found Clobetasol has worked best for me, too - as does Lyderm gel for my oral lichen planus and I am going to continue using both, as needed.
