Are you using numbers from doctor office or at home? Mine are consistently lower at home or at the doctor’s office, if I don’t rush, relax and have it taken properly by the nurse. It does make s difference. I sometimes ask them to retake it after I settle down for the appointment.

Doctor's office are always higher. My favorite PA for years said I had white coat syndrome, lol, and he always took my BP at least twice. He retired a few years ago so I've tried two different doctors. My gut feeling, because of side effects, tells me as long as I can keep my bp within 125-130ish/80 is better than having new BP meds "added" to what I'm already
taking. The last two years my visits to a doctor have been because of an insect bite that caused a reaction not something I dealt with before, covid, UTI and bad reaction to an antibiotic. Probably reasons why my BP was higher at the time.
