Guys as you are suggesting to go with the recommendations of new york times, I did thorough research and read these recommendations and also other websites’ suggestions like consumer reports, popular mechanics etc and they are marking these two as best

Coway Airmega AP-1512HH
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01728NLRG?th=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=toolsandappliances-20&linkId=ecafdfdcd2528585d7b27db92903593f&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl
BLUEAIR Blue Pure 211i Max

i started a separate thread discussing the best air purifiers but didn’t come across anyone who has personally used the Coway Airmega AP-1512HH. Some users have praised Blueair for long term reliability but due to budget constraints and Coway’s sleek design, i am leaning toward purchasing the Coway Airmega.

If anyone has experience using the Coway Airmega AP-1512HH, i would love to hear your thoughts. Would it be a good fit for a 400-square-foot room? Any insights on its performance for long-term use would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been using that Coway and really like it. I have three in different areas of my house and they work well even on high pollution and high smoke days. Good luck to you.
