You might want to consider getting a low dose ReClast infusion. I can attach a study showing even 1 mg to be effective. I do not know if that would extend the number of years you could take it, however.

Hi! I already got Reclast 5 mg infusion. The usual dose. For next time, I need to think about it.
However, my endocrinologist suggested Prednisone (steroid) for anti inflammatory purposes. It’s helped me. I was in excruciating pain, and had to visit ER.
Wish there was more clearer info on how to deal with side effects. I assumed 2 days would be enough. One needs minimum week or more for first infusion, it’s symptoms.
So steroids, calcium and hydration are key I learnt, to mitigate side effects of bone and muscle pain. At the moment I am not ready for my next year’s treatment but will decide based on my bone density. Aim to focus on strength training and diet in the meantime.
