Did the biopsy of the tumor show a mutation that can be treated through a targetted therapy drug? For example, if you have the EGFR mutation, Tagrisso, taken daily, can target the cancer, to the point of no evidence of disease (NED). I have been on Tagrisso for five years, have been NED, until recently, still taking the drug as the spread is indolent at this point in time. I wish you all the best in figuring out your situation. One definitely has to advocate for oneself.

The biopsy showed a TTF-1 weak positive.

"A "weakly positive" result for TTF-1 (Thyroid Transcription Factor 1) in immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining typically indicates that the protein is present in the tissue sample, but the staining intensity is lower than what is considered a strong positive. This staining level can be influenced by factors like the concentration of the antibody used, the amount of TTF-1 protein present in the tissue, and the staining technique itself" Whatever this means ?
