@1oldsoul that is so funny to me. I was taken off Premarin at age 74 ( now 75). I was taken off due to the risk of stroke as I had two TIA’s ( transient ischemic attacks). I was on Premarin for twenty years or more. And here is what I will tell you: I MISS IT!! My infectious disease doctor ( I have a serious lung disease) told me that research has not found a correlation between stroke and Premarin. And I was on a very low dose. She suggested I ask my ob/gyn if I could go back on it every other day. If I could I would take Premarin every day of my life. It solves a multitude of issues. Good luck. Irene5
Would you mind telling us exactly what bhrt you were taking? I started bhrt at 76. Estradiol and testosterone pellet progesterone and vaginal estradiol. I needed a functional medicine provider to get me bhrt.
