Welcome, @177. I moved your discussion to the Kidney Cancer support group here https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/kidney-cancer/ to help you connect with others who have experience with transitional cell cancer of the renal pelvis and ureter, like @pcondon @vickipm @art5 @kausarzaman48 @sally0526

Like @hmmm (Tanya) said, for some people immunotherapy may be an option. Have you considered asking about available clinical trials? How is your recovery going after surgery?

Thank you very much. I will follow up with the others you have listed.

I am doing fine surgery. Just healing. I also had a non-cancerous ovarian tumor removed. Which is how my kidney cancer was detected.

My Urologist offered no treatment. I am meeting with a local oncologist tomorrow after a relative reached out to him for me. I believe my Urologist to be a very competent doctor. He used to work at Mayo and said he had reached out to colleagues and mentor. I guess I just haven't been ready to give up hope. I will certainly see about immunotherapy or clinical trials.
