Where did you get your injection? What does your MRI show and what was your diagnosis? Are you working with a neurologist and/or spine specialist for pain management? Do you have spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, disc bulges/herniations, bone spurs, pinched nerves/radiculopathy? Neurogenic claudication?

I have had about 6 injections and haven’t had this happen to me. I already had small fiber neuropathy that affected my feet. I wonder if a nerve was either irritated or if reduction of inflammation is giving space for nerves to heal. Nerve healing can be uncomfortable for a period of time. Nerves take a long time to heal if it is possible to heal once decompressed. Steroid shots only provide temporary relief.

Have you had EMG/nerve conduction studies done by a neurologist and skin punch biopsy for small fiber neuropathy? Have you had a neuropathy blood panel done?
