I just had endoscopic surgery at L2-3. Previously I had fusions at T11-T12 and L4-S1. This last surgery left me VERY sore in the hips. My surgeon said it was coming from my SI from the way I was lying during surgery. He recommended PT. I have only done PT for 4 days yet, but, no relief. It started on my right side and is now starting on my left side, as well. The doctor did not take X-rays or anything after I complained of pain. Where do I begin getting a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan?

What was the reason for the endoscopic surgery at L2-3 ? How did you do after your fusion of L4S1? Several surgeons told me that I need fusion I think at S 1L 5 I don't know I get it all confused. But I know that I have no disk left between L4 and 5 so they said I need fusion. I've read too many bad things about fusion especially cause I have osteoporosis. I hope your soreness in your hip gets better. Wouldn't that surgeon who did your endoscopic surgery have a diagnosis and treatment plan? Not that I've ever had a treatment plan really I only had one surgery so far that only helped for about 4 months it was just decompression. No my symptoms have come back with twitching and throbbing in my calf muscles.
