I was diagnosed in April 2022 with LS, the ointment my Gynocolgist gave me burned so bad and I did research on it and started using Olive oil, the same kind you cook with, it has been amazing, no more itching ulcers etc.

I had surgery for labial adhesion the first of January. I had become so occluded that I could barely pass urine. I can pee now but the area feels like I have a hundred paper cuts. The nurse said to use olive oil or coconut oil. I did the olive oil first and applied it using my fingers. That did not seem to work and I wondered if the actual touching was part of the problem. I realize that using only once was not a good indication of if it would help or not. I went to the coconut oil and it was in a solid form and I would put it on a pad and it seemed to help. My question to you is, when applying the olive oil did you use your fingers or put it on a pad?? Looking forward to your response. I don't see the surgeon until the end of May. Thanks.
