Where is your dad being treated? I’d strongly recommend an appointment with a renal cell carcinoma specialist (urologist) at a teaching and research hospital, if possible; Memorial Sloan Kettering, Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, University of Michigan, UTSW, etc. Google “best hospital for kidney cancer”. I hope the path forward for your dad becomes easier.

My Dad is being treated at Sloan Kettering. Excellent surgeon, so I have felt that we are in great hands but I'm getting nervous that his symptoms are getting worse. Not sure if this is accurate but they are saying they don't do immotherapy unless it spreads. Is this accurate? That he wouldn't qualify for it.
