I have an excellent PCP at Mayo Jacksonville. He had a lot of patients on WEGOVY so was able to guide me.

What I have learned is just like all other medications individuals react differently. What one degree of the common side effect for some will not be for others.

My PCP said to me I am one of the few individuals he has put on WEGOVY that do not have the appetite reductions that most get. He wanted to put me on Expound (not sure if that is correct name) but my insurance would not cover.

PCP said the Expound had two receptors that affected the appetite section in brain rather than just one that WEGOVY affected and not the same degree of side effects.
