@llc777 I had head pressure and blurry vision Feb. 17th. I went to the ER and they checked me With CT and MRI. Nothing was found to have caused it. I spent two days in the hospital on a stroke protocol and nothing. A Doctor came in and was wearing a mask (I knew who he was because I worked as a nurse although I am now retired. ) Anyway he said to me that I needed to get my BP in line. I called my husband and told him to give me my blood pressure readings. So I wrote them up and gave them to the Doctor. That was the end of that. My BP was in line. Then when I was gonna be discharged two more Doctors came in wearing masks. One was a Neurologist. His comment was, "For lack of a better term we are gonna call this a TIA." So he labeled me. 3 Doctors said I did not have one and I knew I didn't. Instead of saying we don't know what is wrong and maybe even figuring out another Dr. to send me too this is what I got. REALLY! I spent the next five months going to Doctors near where I live and nothing. Not even my Neurologist could diagnose what I had. He should have. So I took the bull by the horns and my sisters idea and looked on the internet in Houston. I found a Neuro-Opthalmologist which I didn't know they had those. So I made an appt with a Neurologist in Houston in the am and in the PM went to the Neuro-Opthalmologist.
I was diagnosed with Occipital Neuralgia. They sent a script in for Gabapentin and it has helped. I would ask your Doctor about that. Hope you get help. I do understand. I can't say I know how you feel cause only you know that. When I came home from the hospital I had fleeting head pains but they were not very painful. I had a one time burning on my head. But I get head pressure in the right lower back of my head up above my neck. It is pressure not a headache. I know that if you look it up pressure is considered a headache. But to me it's not the same. The last time I had a headache was over 31 years ago and it was pounding. @rnlorena
