Measles vaccine for seniors?

I'm about to turn 83. I took female hormones through my 80th year. Couldn't get a Dr to Rx them after that. I also couldn't get permission from my insurance company to get tested for osteoporosis. My hair is falling out and I'm growing chin hairs and having hot flashes. You gotta die of something, and cancer is better than Alzheimer's. And women taking hormones don't get cancer that often. So I want to take them again (I'm also worried about osteoporosis). I'm suspicious that men are allowed to take testosterone so they can stop feeling impotent but women are denied hormones because we're women, if you know what I mean. I want better research into older women and hormones.

A close friend of mine, a nurse-practitioner, said she was going to take female hormones until she got breast cancer. So she did. And she did - get breast cancer, that is. Total mastectomy, loss of all hair, difficult recovery, long-term treatment to keep from recurrence. Yes, she's a near neighbor whom I've known since 1978. I'll take my chin hairs over what she has had to go through.

I'm in n Colorado and go to woman's clinic of n. Colorado... And my insurance pays most of my hrt that I just started 3 months ago. I'm 74.
