Nick, my apologies for the last post. I did not see that you had already had the surgery until I checked your profile posts and saw this post here.

Congratulations on the successful surgery!

What type of aortic aneurysm did you have? I may be looking at a similar surgery situation. In my case, I have an ascending aortic aneurysm that was measured at 4.3 cm about 5 months ago. I had another CT scan this morning to compare for any potential growth of the aneurysm. I should have results tomorrow.

How is your recovery coming along? Have you noticed any improvements with respect to any chest/back pain or discomfort?

Just a quick follow-up. I got a call from my doctor's office with the CT scan results. The CT scan showed NO change in the ascending aneurysm since last November. I have another CT scan scheduled in 6 months. Hopefully the results will be the same.

Liveoak, I have a 4.2 cm ascending aortic aneurysm. I just found out about a month ago after a ct scan. Did your Dr limit your activities such as gym workouts etc? I am waiting for an appointment with a thoracic.
