Has anyone’s MRI biopsy been canceled when doc couldn’t ’t find spot?

Yes, that happened to me about 12 years ago. I was on my stomach and already for the MRI Biopsy and the radiologist said he could not locate the area. They stopped and didn't follow through with the MRI but they did charge me for it. I have very dense breasts, and I have confounded doctors for most of my life and have had many biopsies. I wasn't actually diagnosed with breast cancer until 2020 and 2024.
I agree that is so nerve racking. You can't help but think they may have missed something very serious. But there is a good chance that it is not serious.

Me too with dense breasts. I had at least 3 biopsies over the years well before being diagnosed. Most of the time I manage not to think about it and just be grateful that I’m healthy overall. Just every now and then that worry springs up. Thank you for sharing your experience.
