@oliversolis1212 Most drugs taken during menopause can only be used for 2-3 years. Your doctor started you on the correct one. I had no problems as long as I followed the instructions closely. Then you’ll start on some of the intravenous drugs, which are given once a year. Your endocrinologist will be following your progress when you have DEXA scans. The whole program is closely monitored.
I do not know of any recommended alternatives.

As I understand it bisphosphonates for years had been the drug that docs started osteoporosis patients on first. Also as I understand it, bisphosphonates can reduce the effectiveness of the bone building drugs....tymlos, forteo and Evenity
Many docs are using the bone builders first.
