AVN was noted on right femoral head due to changes. Therefore, I reached out to my orthopedic doctor to discuss AVN. Orthopedic doctor ordered the MRI of hips and this is when the 6.6 x 2.9 lesion within the acetabulum. I was then referred back to Oncology and PET scan was scheduled and confirmed the cancerous lesion. My question was why was this not found by radiologist? Is it the location of lesion due to the equipment/slices they take?
