I do not have experience with ostricide shots but usually given it prior to any medical procedures to keep my carcinoid symptoms at bay.
My lung carcinoid metastasis to the liver. My glucose levels have been high for my baseline. In jan2024 when I lost my lung to carcinoid, my KI was 5. In March 2025 the KI for my liver metastasis is 25 average with KI-40 in hot spots. On my way to Mayo to see what my treatment plan options are!

Hello, @aliciabusiness5, and welcome to Mayo Connect. I you are dealing with lung NETs as well as liver metastasis. I'm happy to see that you will be going to Mayo Clinic to find treatment options. They have NETs specialists at all three locations.
