My mass was spiculated and they called me within 30 min of getting CT saying that I needed urgent consult for biopsy and that spiculated is almost always cancer. I wouldn’t delay. Mine was squamous non small cell type. They called squamous type the smokers cancer. I smoked 45 years

Hello @susies215, What a whirlwind diagnosis can be! It sounds like your doctors saw enough to be rightfully concerned. Do you remember how large your initial mass was when they first found it? Did you have surgery? How long ago?
