Anyone had a knee replacement while on ADT?

I had my teeth cleaning last week and was required to take 4 antibiotics an hour prior to my appointment. I had a knee replacement last September. Am told I need to take for at least the next 2 years.

That’s exactly what I would have advised - but some orthopedists say NO.
In fact we were advised by our malpractice insurance carrier that if the surgeon wants the patient pre medicated, then THEY should write the RX to avoid a lawsuit if the patient has a bad reaction to it.
It’s totally ridiculous!!
