I meant to also ask you if you are increasing Vitamin D and decreasing Calcium supplements because of the reported impact of Tymlos on those elements in our bodies.

My vitamin D has almost always been 48-50, but it came down to 38 after 4-5 weeks on Tymlos (no surprise--you'll see on here that a lot of people say "Tymlos & Forteo 'eat' vitamin D"), so I increased from 2000iu/ day to 3000 iu/day. I need to have my calcium checked again--it was fine after the first 4-5 weeks. And my understanding is that we need to try to achieve that "just right" spot with calcium because we need to avoid being deficient in addition to having too much. I try to get 1100mg/day through food... if I haven't reached that range at night I take either a 200mg or 400 mg calcium capsule at day's end (but skip it if I know I've had plenty through food).

Regarding using pens past 30 days, I didn't mean to seem to recommend it. Like I said, I am uniquely thrifty and risk tolerant, plus I have 3-4 dear ones in my life who either work in pharm or are very pharm adjacent and they have filled my head with outlier ideas.
