I had Green Light Laser for BPH - instant relief, no bleeding, no pain. Urinated like a boy again…
Less invasive than HOLEP which is more like a TURP and physically removes chunks of prostate lining; involves a longer recovery and longer catheter time.
Your pursuit of a remedy is really determined by how much discomfort or inconvenience you have. In my case, I couldn’t urinate or did only partially and was going to the bathroom every half hour…

Hi Phil, I'd never heard of 'Green Light Therapy' before. So consulted Mayo on line to find this: https://newsnetwork.mayoclinic.org/discussion/green-light-laser-surgery-treats-bph/
Wow! to say the least. I had BPH in 2011 with a huge prostate and its blockage of urine. Now I wonder if I'd had the Green Light if just maybe it would have removed what was probably the very early, and undetectable, beginnings of PC.
Maybe for those with BPH, this is a word of caution and suggestion for those seeking options .
