Rectal Prolapse: What are my options?

I am 70 year female with rectal prolapse. I would be interested in other people's experience with a surgical procedure for this condition. Also I was advised to have biofeedback for pelvic floor dysynergia. Does anyone have experience with this Thanks.

My experience with surgery is that you cannot be too diligent about choosing your surgeon. Get as many references as possible. God bless.

Do not underestimate the value of the chair that is being promoted everywhere for both bladder and bowel prolapse for men and women. I have gone to a prolapse physio and used the chair (in Canada I went to Urospot). Worked for me.
