@mdm30 Hi. I think you'll find a lot of information on this site in regards to the Evenity after Tymlos sequence. You can specifically search for that on this site.
It would be helpful to know when you stopped Tymlos, and if you have been on any other medications for osteoporosis. Has your endocrinologist prescribed Evenity? If you're comfortable doing so, posting your pre- and post-Tymlos DEXA, TBS and bone marker results would be helpful for members to understand what type of information would be most beneficial for you. Evenity has been prescribed for more than one year by some doctors, but at present it is officially approved for one year. Have you discussed what the long-term plan is for you moving forward? It's always good to know why your endocrinologist is recommending a particular treatment plan, what alternatives might be suitable and whether or not a specific medication eliminates the possibility of using certain others in the future.

@hollygs holly I am 69 yr old female osteopenia 5 years on fisanax list 2 percent each dexa. On evenity now 7 months. Mayo endo David Hurley wants me to do reclast. I don't want it or proliia. Afraid my evenity not as good as in trials at 12.7 percent. After fisamax it blunts to study said about 9.5. Approx. I want strong bones as have rods and screws from fusion may 1 2025 at mayo l4l5. I want to find an endo who will try me on teripartide prob cuz ins not cover tymlos. But do not want a bispho after evenity. Need more bone built. How do I find an endo in 4 months that will try me on the parathyroid ones after evenity. I have high blood pressure, COPD 30 YEARS OF LUNG PROBLEMS NEVER SMOKED. MOM AND DAD SMOKED BUT I WAS BORN 3 MONTHS PREMATURE HAD LUNG PROBLEMS AND SEVERE ENVIRONMENTAL ALLERGIES WITH ASTHMA AND CGRONIC STUFFY NOSE SYMPTOMS ON NEBULIZER 30 YEARS. SCARED OF RECLAST BREATHING RESP RISKS NOW. WANT TO TRY PARATHYROID ONES AFTER EVENITY. DONT THINK DR HURLEY WILL DO. WILL SAY NO STUDIES WITH THIS SEQUENCE. IM SCARED TO DEATH OF COPD RISKS OF RECKAST AND JAW STUFF IS MORE RISK. CAN U HELP ME FIND AN ENDO AT MAYO WHO MIGHT DO THIS IR AT LEAST TRY, THEN MEASURE MY BONE MARJERS AFTER 4 MONTHS ON PARATHYROID ONE. WILL START it 2 months after evenity to get out of body.
