Loss of voice after Arikayce nebulizer

I had the same issue when I started Arikayce. I'd have to stop for a week then resume. I'd be okay for awhile, then I'd totally lose my voice. So frustrating! My doctor was worried that I'd become resistant to the Arikayce if I stopped so often so he reduced the dose to every other day. I'd get hoarse occasionally but I never truly lose my voice after that. I'm not sure your doctor would consider doing that but it wouldn't hurt to ask!

Thats really good to know. My ID will not restart until I get my voice back and she said I can do every other day. Thanks for the follow up. Not able to talk is a torture by itself. Hope I get my voice back at a reasonable time. Did you start Arikayce at the evening/nighttime?
