Okay. Please update us when you know more details. In the meantime, know that lung NETs is often very, very slow growing and treatable. I’ve had it for 30+ years and it hasn’t spread from my lungs. I’m doing well and take a monthly injection to manage respiratory symptoms.
Lots of other people have had their NETs tumors removed and that was it, no other treatment. Many good stories out there.
Lung NETs is different from other types of lung cancer and the treatment is different so you should always consult with a NETs specialist. Mayo, university hospitals and other cancer centers will have them. The moderator can add a link for NETs specialists.
Do not hesitate to get a second opinion from another NETs specialist if you feel at all unsure about your treatment plan.
