Thank you for your comment aec07130. I don't know how I was lucky enough to get my medication. That really just postponed the problem till next month. I've discussed it with my pain doctor. He does have contingency plans for me should this issue arise again. Have you discussed this with your physician? My doctor was willing to go out of his way to help. I have the direct number for his hid NP too.I wonder, with all of these changes happening at the federal level if they will discontinue opioid for chronic pain. I'm sure it won't be a popular decision.
But, that hasn't swayed them yet.
I can only take 2 Tramadol 50 mg daily as per my physician.
I live on Ibuprofen during the day, but at dinner time and bedtime I take the Tramadol and it does help my pain.
I recently was put on Lyrica 50 mg twice per day, and I’m too early into it to really evaluate if it working or not.
I’m still getting pain and pins and needles in my feet.
Drug shortages seem to to be a common problem. There were two medications I was taking that had to be changed to something else just recently because they were unavailable and my pharmacy had no idea when they would get them. Hopefully, you’re a pain management position can find some other medication that can at least get you by until what you need is available again just hang in there the best you can.
