I had oral antibiotics for 4 weeks after my tkr.
My husband got staph and was septic 7 years after his knee and hip replacements. Had 7 surgeries in 1 year. Healed now but will be on antibiotics his entire life.

oh, my, that is too bad your husband had 7 surgeries in one year. Sounds dreadful but glad he has healed. I did
have antibiotics after the knee surgery but just not sure about dental procedures. Did take prior to procedure yesterday at 3 mos. after knee surgery.
