Hi, I had 1.5m of my ileum removed 2022 due to nets. Was in hospital for 6 days as needed me to do a bowel movement before leaving hospital. Pain wise was not too bad did feel pain at times months after surgery. I had to adjust what I ate as some foods did cause gas pain to occur. I now have lesions on liver which my medical team (I live in Australia) are keeping an eye on. I have no other treatment for now. Good luck
