I just completed 35 radiation Treatments, with 6 chemotherapy enhancements. I still have razor blade throat my regime:
Kate Farms liquid nutrition. It is used in feeding tube. Is complete nutrition. Kate Farms is my primary food. Even pudding or yogurt hurts. I do buy the chobani yogurt drinks
5 mg oxycodone (I take 3 oxy a day)
I was taking tylenol now switch to advil because it is anti inflammatory.
I can't find liquid advil. I take advil minis, and it hurts to swallow.
I get hydration IV at the hospital weekly, even though I am done with treatment.
You must eat even if it hurts. That is why I take the oxy. I take oxy and about 1 hrs later I swallow the Kate farms .
Even doing this I have lost 15 pounds in one month.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I truly appreciate your openness to share and help others going through something similar. It sounds incredibly tough, and I admire your strength in pushing through each day.
Have you had the feeding tube throughout your treatment, or was it introduced later?

My dad has the same, razor blade throat. He describes it just like that. Would liquid Motrin help? We use the children’s liquid Motrin and just adjust the dose to what his provider recommends.

Hi there, my husband is in emergency waiting for a room at the hospital as I text.
Low blood pressure, sodium etc....I told him last night he needs a feeding tube. He refused....
He is in the best place right now.
I didn't think this would happen and so quickly...week 4 of 7.
