I have taken the 35 mg delayed release Actonel for about 6 months following the year of Evinity. This form of Actonel is taken immediately after eating breakfast. Haven’t had any side effects.
Won’t have DEXA until Sept 2025, but hoping this helps maintain gains following Evinity.

Thank you for that. Re Actonel. My problem is l am taking it at the moment after Prolia discontinuance. Apparently it is not strong enough to counteract the Rebound effect from the Prolia which therefore results in a high fracture risk. I may have to go on zoledronic acid which can have massive side effects (as recorded on this discussion group). Take care.

I take monthly Actonel and am going to quit as the side effects of fatigue, lightheadedness, fierce joint pain, and constipation makes me have a week of feeling like I have the flu. Also, my instructions are to take before eating and sit or stand for at least 30 minutes. Eating or drinking anything but water beforehand was not the protocol.
