It is covered by my part D but in fact, being covered makes it harder/impossible to use the coupon Vertex offers. If it is refused you can use the coupon. It requires prior authorization if that is refused then you can use the coupon. It is incredibly confusing and I have trying to figure it out and will try to post here as I get more clarity.
