A relaxing conversation: Which fictional character would you dine with

Posted by Morgan17 @harmony11, 6 days ago

If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be and why?
Just for a relaxing conversation
Personally, I'd choose to have dinner with Sherlock Holmes. Imagine the fascinating conversation—his keen observations, brilliant deductions, and perhaps even some witty banter. Plus, I’d love to hear about his adventures straight from him!

What about you? Would it be someone adventurous, magical, or maybe just hilarious?👨‍🦳👴❤✝

I think I would like to sit down with my Grandmom and hear her beautiful stories about life. I would also would be writing everything down as well. She and my spouse had the same birthday. She was kind, loving and the best person I knew that I wanted to be like. I was only 26 1/2 years old when she died. I try to be like her in some ways. I think Caregiving has been around forever. By the way she was German/Irish. Boy could she cook. Laughing was our first and last time I spoke to her. I think I will journal this one. I lived at the library and read so many titles and I had favorites. Not sure who I would pick. Thx. for your text. It lifted me up!

I have 2 answers. Ghandi. Mahatma Ghandi. My paternal grandmother. She died in 1990. I legally changed my last name ( married husband died in 2012) to her maiden name. She was quite a woman that I did not realize at the time.

Your words paint such a vivid and heartfelt picture of your grandmother. She sounds like an extraordinary woman—kind, wise, and full of life’s stories to share. It’s beautiful how her spirit continues to inspire you and how you honor her memory through caregiving and your thoughtful reflections. Journaling this is such a lovely idea; it’s a way to keep her stories alive and connect with her legacy.

The laughter you shared must be a cherished memory, a reminder of her warmth and joy. And her cooking skills sound like they were just as rich as her character! Thank you for sharing this—it’s heartwarming and reminds me of the power of love and memories. It’s an honor that my message brought you some uplift. 🌟

Both choices reflect profound respect and admiration. Mahatma Gandhi's legacy of peace and resilience is endlessly inspiring—imagine the depth of wisdom a conversation with him could bring. And your grandmother sounds like an extraordinary woman whose impact continues to shape your life. The decision to honor her by taking her maiden name shows how much she meant to you, even more so as you’ve come to recognize her significance over time.

It’s beautiful how the past intertwines with the present, leaving footprints on our hearts. Thank you for sharing such meaningful answers!

Winnie the Pooh. The original character....not Disney's.
I'd like to speak with him about honey and his tips on indolence.

The Sultan of Brunei. Not sure how interesting the conversation would be, but I'll bet he'd offer to pick up the tab.

Winnie the Pooh—the original, not Disney's—is a wonderful choice. His wisdom about honey and embracing life's slower pace would make for such a delightful and soothing conversation!

That’s a clever choice! Even if the conversation doesn’t sparkle, having the Sultan of Brunei cover the tab would make it a meal to remember. Talk about dining in style!

Thank you! Your response was heartwarming as well. Love is hard to find at the moment you remember it makes all worthwhile. I have the love of my family, friend's and of course my sweetheart! He will be taken care as long as I possibly can.
