It's a very simple in-line, 2 filter system with the carbon filter first and the .2 micron second. Each filter is about 10" long and 2 - 2.5" wide. Any plumber or handyman should be able to do it. Ours is just below the floor under the sink, in the unfinished laundry at one house, and just below the cold faucet in the little 😀 house where we winter.
