I think I would like to sit down with my Grandmom and hear her beautiful stories about life. I would also would be writing everything down as well. She and my spouse had the same birthday. She was kind, loving and the best person I knew that I wanted to be like. I was only 26 1/2 years old when she died. I try to be like her in some ways. I think Caregiving has been around forever. By the way she was German/Irish. Boy could she cook. Laughing was our first and last time I spoke to her. I think I will journal this one. I lived at the library and read so many titles and I had favorites. Not sure who I would pick. Thx. for your text. It lifted me up!

Your words paint such a vivid and heartfelt picture of your grandmother. She sounds like an extraordinary woman—kind, wise, and full of life’s stories to share. It’s beautiful how her spirit continues to inspire you and how you honor her memory through caregiving and your thoughtful reflections. Journaling this is such a lovely idea; it’s a way to keep her stories alive and connect with her legacy.

The laughter you shared must be a cherished memory, a reminder of her warmth and joy. And her cooking skills sound like they were just as rich as her character! Thank you for sharing this—it’s heartwarming and reminds me of the power of love and memories. It’s an honor that my message brought you some uplift. 🌟
