I have had two urine samples recently which show a small amount of blood, nothing you can see without lab work. After a recent hip operation I had urinary frequency but that has since gone away. I was on aspirin and Aleve and for over a month. I continue with Aleve for arthritis and have been using it for several years and wonder if that could be causing the blood?

No other symptoms. My urologist will be doing a cystoscopy and I was wondering if that is painful? Now am worried about bladder cancer.
