I just found this out hadn’t dit the scan DEXA have no pain didn’t know I had it had an x-ray and an MRI and have not heard anything from the doctor so I’m checking with all of you on Mayo Clinic site to see different recommendations before I move forward, they recommended Prolia but horrible side effects so refused it.What is anabolic?

Tymlos or Forteo, they build bone. You are usually on them about 2 years. I have been on Tymlos for 5 weeks now. So far side effects are manageable.

The same thing happened to me. I was on Forteo for 2 years. After that my docs wanted me to go on Prolia but like you I refused. They started me on Actonel instead.
