Thanks dmk for your reply. I've
had some doctors tell me that full use and the shoulder pain would take a year to resolve. The surgeon that I went to for a TKR postponed the knee replacement surgery until I am able to use a walker. I'm sure that would have been a horrible experience hopping around everywhere. I posted before that I see my shoulder surgeon this next week. I'll share my concerns at that time. I know the surgeon has lots of experience in the recovery with my RTSR. He offered the surgery two years ago and I just wasn't ready. I still don't think I was ready for this.
I have certain movements or positions that my arm is in that buckles my knees it hurts so much.

@koneil You should not have to hop around with a knee replacement. You can put weight on your operated leg immediately after surgery, and most pain comes from bending your knee, not weight bearing after surgery. AI did not bother with a walker, but it will give you stability if you are afraid of falling. However, I think you need to get your shoulder problems solved before knee replacement so you aren't in double pain.
