I have spinal stenosis bulging disc arthritis in back I have had three epidural spinal injections with no success maybe for the first few days there would be some relief my left side numbness all the way to my ankle hurts more when sitting riding walking is not so bad hard to say it and read or even to watch TV I live in Tennessee been going to orthopedic in Knoxville Tennessee and I'm really considering the spinal stimulating device or maybe even the non-invasive surgery I simply don't think I could stand to be bedridden for six weeks to go through the regular surgery because my son passed in 2022 and I'm certain I would wind up depressed if I had to be still for that long and I don't want to deal with that any advice would be helpful haven't talked to my doctor yet about what procedure we can do he has mentioned surgery and he has mentioned that I could probably do the stimulator but I haven't decided which way to go yet but it seems something will have to be done because it does seem to be worsening I do think I have a good doctor that did the epidural shots or injections I guess it's called with contrast and I'm sure he would recommend a good surgeon or whatever I decide thanks for listening I am 71 that's what concerns me about surgery I do not take any pain medication maybe a Advil when it gets so bad

Be careful in getting too many injections into your back. Those injections could cause Chronic Adhesive Arachnoiditis. I had a stimulator and it didn't work. Also check to make sure the Abbott stimulator has had the recall removed. If that hasn't been lifted, no hospital will do a MRI on you, because of the FDA Class 1 recall.
