I was shown how to do the pendulum exercises before leaving the hospital, and told to start as soon as I got home. I don't remember having any unusual pain after sessions. I wonder if waiting 2 weeks to start made the tissues around your implant "set up" and your pain might be due to some expected stretching in the ball/joint area as you do your swings. Do talk to your surgeon's office and see what they think.

I didn't explain myself properly. I've been doing the pendulum (circles) since day one and in my 5th week of recovery. I find the I have twinges of pain with my first session in the morning. My next two sessions are pain free. I'm looking forward to starting range of motion next week and Dr. said no strength training for another 6 weeks. All the research I did before RSR surgery suggested I may need a full year to recuperate. Try to remain positive everyone.
