I am sitting in the office of my esketamine treatment at this moment, and although I am feeling very depressed right now, I would highly recommend this treatment. I have been administered esketamine weekly for almost 2 years, and it really does help me. At the very least it is an opportunity to let go completely. I cover my eyes, listen to music and my body and my head do not feel burdensome for about 40 minutes. I leave each time feeling a bit less tangled up. No harm in trying!!

Thank you! Is it at all frightening after you take the sprovata? Is there anything you have to do after the treatment. psych therapy?

In my experience There is nothing to be afraid of. They have me spray the treatment in each nostril 3 times at 5 minutes apart so it is gradual. I am in my own room in a super comfortable chair. I cover my eyes with a scarf and I listen to my playlists. You do feel disconnected from your body which feels like an incredible relief! Some people read or have a computer with them, and I have no idea how they are able to read or work! Different for different people. Nothing scary or threatening

They take your blood pressure 1st. The therapist or nurse therapist comes in for a minute or two. Then, in the middle of the relaxation they come in & take your bp again, and then again at the end. Then the therapist comes in once more to see how you feel, and then off you go

You need an internal medicine doctor, you need blood work done.
Why are you going to a neurologist, and why aren’t they getting his blood work done?

They are good for taking your money though!
