I wonder if each will have labs to identify and distinguish the type(s) of MAC (the specific type of MAC bacteria) a person has. A lab like those at NJH and Tyler have. Any information on that so far?

I was hoping to see Baylor in Dallas on the list but did not believe I should have my hopes up for one in OKC (OU Medical Center).

I believe many will continue to send their specimens to NJH for that final step. It makes a great deal of sense, economically and from a perspective of expertise, to concentrate specialty testing in a few labs.
