I'm 3 weeks post surgery for RSR. At 81 yrs of age I did some research to compare my pain to outcome prognosis. I had best surgeon in area and seem to be doing well. At 2 weeks I was told to remove stabilizer three times a day and do pendulum circles until my 6 week visit with surgeon. This morning I have noticed a little pain when doing the rotation and afraid I've dislocated something. I was virtually pain free previously. Did anyone have a similar experience?

I was shown how to do the pendulum exercises before leaving the hospital, and told to start as soon as I got home. I don't remember having any unusual pain after sessions. I wonder if waiting 2 weeks to start made the tissues around your implant "set up" and your pain might be due to some expected stretching in the ball/joint area as you do your swings. Do talk to your surgeon's office and see what they think.
