I think Helen is right, you need to call your Oncologist's office at least weekly to see if there is a cancellation. Myself, I would call daily, maybe twice a day in the morning and afternoon. I was told at my Drs office when a cancellation comes in the next person to call gets the opening, they do not keep a call list of people who are waiting for earlier appointments. Good luck, this is your life. Do not be bothered by what the receptionist thinks of your frequent calls:)

Thanks for your kind reply, Beebee! My problem is that my body doesn’t like medication at all, and I’m feeling so much better since I discontinued the drug. I know this is not what the Drs like to hear, so I just need to find a tactful way to tell him I prefer not being treated. I would feel differently if I were in pain or having serious symptoms., but that’s not the case. So anyway, I will get hold of them soon and I’m sure it will all work out for the best! Anyway, best wishes to you also for you in your journey. Have a wonderful evening!!
