What treatment was suggested for you after Erleada (apalutamide)?

Cancer spreads to my bones, Arleador doesn’t effective anymore, any good suggestions for next treatment without chemotherapy? Thanks

Are you asking about Erleada. (Apalutamide) and just spelled it wrong. The drug you mentioned above doesn’t exist.

Radium 223 is one thing you can use to treat bone metastasis, ask your doctor about it.

Pluvicto Is another treatment you could get. It used to require chemo first but no longer. It’s only real effective in 1/3 people work OK and 1/3 and doesn’t work at all in 1/3.

Have you had a Hereditary, genetic test? There’s a possibility You could Get other treatment if you have certain genetic issues.

You get the hereditary test for free here if you live in the United States
Prostatecancerpromise.org

You might also get a somatic test, which could show other genetic changes which could allow you to be treated differently.

I was going to mention abiraterone but it It doesn’t work in the high percentage of cases. I’ve heard that only 5% of people that move from a lutamide to abiraterone are successful.

Abiraterone can raise your blood pressure, I never had blood pressure problems, but now do and I take three different drugs twice a day because of it. It also brought back afib which I hadn’t had for well over 10 years before, had three times while on abiraterone.

If you have no heart problems, it could be worth trying to see if I can get your PSA back down. That won’t take more than a couple of months. Ask your doctor about this. If you were involved with a cardiologist You could discuss it with them. There are cardio-oncologists that really specialize in it.
